2 Posts a month?

It's nice to visit these international forums once in awhile, but its not always easy to find the time, I wonder if the same 2 posts a month applies here as well? AO.

"To keep your accounts active on the other forums, (fr, it, es, pt, ja), don't forget to post a message in the English mini-forums, at least once every 2 months."

Hi Vesuvio,

I notice that post was written in 2005 and last edited in July 2007, so I wonder whether it is still valid or has been superseded by the new one-post-a-month rule, which I had assumed would apply to all forums. Also the information still seems to be out of date on some forums, unless they really do have different rules. See my recent reply to AO on the Portuguese forum.

Yes, it isn't absolutely clear to me either. I can't remember when the mini-forums were introduced, I think that was in 2007,

I'm not absolutely sure whether it is every month or every two months. There seem to be different versions of the rule on different forums, and some may be out of date, so I try to average one a month to be safe.

That's right. It all depends when the periodic pruning of underused accounts takes place, of course, but it is wise to make sure you have at least as many posts to your name as months of membership. If you happen to miss a month, you're OK as long as you've posted enough previously so that your average is still at least one per month.

This reminds me to do my monthly trek through the forums to keep from being terminated. Its tough keeping up with the English forum let alone all the others, I lost access to the Italian forum when I first signed up to Delcamp not knowing the procedure and to get access now would be way too much work.
